39 years ago, when the concept of ergonomics was still vaguely existent, Mr. Digant Shah had the far-sightedness to figure out this futuristic organisational need. Sujako Interiors Pvt. Ltd. was thus born, and has been contributing to fulfilling this need ever since.

Digant Shah

Chairman

Mr. Shah is a Mechanical Engineer from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya and has established deep roots in furniture design and manufacturing for over 39 years. In 1977 he first started Alumina and developed more than 35 types of portable aluminum chairs and other products for export and domestic markets. In 1990, he floated Sujako and has been successfully steering its growth ever since. Apart from his core expertise in product design and development, he is also responsible for public relations.

Swar Shah

Managing Director

Swar is an MBA from the Indian School of Business has been heading business development and marketing at Sujako. His engineering education from San Jose State University and Nirma Institute of Technology has inspired him to maintain Sujako’s technological superiority in the field. Swar is the driving force behind Sujako’s new initiatives and business development.

Kamlendu Chowdhury

VP – Operations

A Human Resources Management graduate by education, Mr. Chowdhury has been a key leader in Sujako since its inception. His detail oriented work ethos is visible in Sujako’s culture of quality consciousness. He is heading operations and supplier relationships at Sujako. He is also a member of Ahmedabad Management Association and National HRD Network – Ahmedabad Chapter.

Hemant Vasavada

VP – Accounts & Finance

Mr. Vasavada possesses extensive experience of more than 30 years in finance background. He heads Sujako’s accounts and admin team and is responsible for the commercial aspects of the business. He also plays a key role in designing and implementing Sujako’s HR policies.

We take pride in being an environment-conscious organization that refrains from using solid wood and voluntarily implements ISO 14001 standards while working hard to reduce and manage waste at every step of production. Our raw materials mainly include engineered wood with high content of recycled material.

DGS&D Registration

Sujako is a Directorate General of Supplies & Disposals (DGS&D) registered organization. We are approved to supply modular furniture to any of the central government bodies as per our existing rate contract. This registration is awarded to selected organizations that fulfill DGS&D’s stringent quality control and testing criteria.
